It was my parent's anniversary and they were out for dinner. I was left at home, with my sister. She was watching Adventure Time on cartoon network. I had been working on a friend's present that involved Mod-Podge. I was trying to shake it so I could use it. I had forgotten that the lid wasn't screwed on. As I rattled it, it exploded over our whole living room. Thankfully, it missed our Toshiba TV. Normally, my sister never helps me clean up a spill; this was the only exception. She bounded off the sofa and we ran into the kitchen. we grabbed the bounty towels, not the cloth ones, and raced back. I was able to get to off the hardwood, but the rug was another problem. I ran up stairs to get our shark steamer. It helped to get most of the stickiness away. When our parents were home my sister immediately blabbed on me. I remember how frantic we were. Now we laugh at it. What does all this mean? What essential wisdom did I learn from this? Help your sister. You might need to clean up her mess someday. Stick together forever.
